20 years of the NØ FØRMAT label!

A unique haven for unclassifiable artists! Since its creation by Laurent Bizot in 2004, the Parisian label NØ FØRMAT! has continued to reveal and support a vast circle of artists from all horizons, resistant to labels and weaving their way between genres. From Piers Faccini to Mélissa Laveaux, from Urban Village to Asynchrone, from Koki Nakano to Blick Bassy or Trio SR9, its boarders have also made the great days and evenings of the Opéra Underground, which loves nothing more than to open its door to strong heads of this kind.
To celebrate the label's twentieth anniversary, it's in the Opéra's Grande Salle that ears eager for the unexpected are invited. Two of NØ FØRMAT! : songwriter and fellow OU member Piers Faccini, here accompanied by Malik Ziad on guembri, and Lucas Santtana, one of the most subtly inventive Brazilian songwriters of the new century. We'll also be discovering the label's latest nugget: singer, pianist and percussionist Natascha Rogers, whose debut album Oneida unveils a universe where the intimate and the spiritual come together in a marriage as intense as it is poetic.
Supported by the Asynchrone collective, whose magnificent tribute to Ryuichi Sakamoto recently performed at L'Amphi has not been forgotten, the association of these singular stars promises to draw a musical constellation defying all categories.
