Around fifteen bronze statues of Philippe Geluck's Cat are on display in the Tete d'Or Park, in the alleyway leading from the Porte des Enfants du Rhône to the rose garden.
From 3 October, 15 monumental, funny and poetic sculptures will be installed in the alley leading to the international rose garden. An exhibition to discover alone or with the family, as more than 10 million visitors have already fallen under its spell in Paris, Bordeaux, Caen, Geneva, Monaco, Montreux, Brussels and Guérande.
At the same time, from 4 October to 15 November 2025, the Estades gallery will be presenting a selection of acrylic paintings, original drawings, silkscreen prints and smaller sculptures in which Le Chat playfully questions our relationship with art, society and language.
Before becoming a painter and sculptor, Philippe Geluck was an actor, radio and television presenter and commentator, and above all a cartoonist. His highly effective humour is the common thread running through all his professions.
This autumn, he is publishing a new album entitled L'origine du Chat (The Origin of Le Chat), published by Casterman, a hilarious work that adds to his rich bibliography (25 Le Chat albums, numerous text books and three exhibition catalogues).
