To celebrate the opening of the multi-purpose venue, the 'Chalet du Parc', 180 photographs taken by the renowned photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand are on display in the heart of the Parc de la Tête d'Or, stretching from the Porte des Enfants du Rhône to the chalet.
Enriched by the insights of demographer and historian Hervé Le Bras, this body of work has given rise to 'Vivre Ensemble', an exhibition that invites us all to consider what unites and divides us. Due to its immense scale, the 'Vivre Ensemble' exhibition is a hugely popular and resolutely humanist initiative.
Following this highlight, the photographic studio designed by architect Renzo Piano will be set up at the Chalet du Parc from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 September. Members of the public will be able to have their photograph taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrand and his team, thereby becoming part of this collective endeavour and helping to enrich this unique human portrait.
