Autumn is the season of fallen leaves and walks wrapped up in a cosy jumper. The sometimes mild temperatures still make for some lovely walks, especially if you don't hesitate to explore further, particularly in the Beaujolais region.

Autumn in Lyon also means an abundance of culture and cult festivals. The Festival Lumière, the Villeurbanne Short Film Festival are just waiting for you... From September onwards, the Dance Biennial will alternate with the Contemporary Art Biennial in Lyon.
