After a first edition full of birds, Chapelle sauvage puts its ears to the water. If we are to believe Gaston Bachelard in L'Eau et les rêves, it's pretty much the same thing: birds, the first musicians, are said to have first imitated the voices of nature, and in particular the metamorphoses of water. The blackbird, for example, is said to have learned his cascades of liquid notes from the banks of streams, singing “not for the sky, but for nearby water”. How about imitating him?

Three days to return to the roots of music and listen to nature as it flows by! Strolls along the Rhône and Saône rivers, a sound installation in a Dante river, cowbells in hardened steel and a dreamy DJ set on an ocean planet. All to the rhythm of children who still love jumping in puddles and Vivaldi, wilder and more immersive than ever! A festival dedicated to the spirit of the Rhône, aka La Mâchecroute.
