To begin with, the museum's architecture is incredible! Made of glass, concrete and stainless steel, it stands erect like a beacon on the headland at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers.
Such a building could only house an exceptional museum, one that encompasses scientific, technical and societal knowledge relating to Earth, humanity, history and geography. In other words, it is a gateway to the world, the universe and knowledge in general. How fascinating is that!
It opens up a whole host of possibilities and promises many a discovery!
This is an essential step in Lyon's cultural landscape. It has lots of surprises in store for us and is an opportunity to travel and grow.
Useful tip
Access to the Museum and its exhibitions is included in the Lyon City Card, which also enables users to beat the queue!
