Lyon is a pedestrian’s paradise with 20 km of car-free areas, 240 km of roads designated as ’30 zones’ and 138 km of greenways exclusively reserved for pedestrians and non-motorised traffic! Take a stroll through the city’s very own ‘tube’, the longest pedestrian and cycle tunnel in Europe linking the Vaise neighbourhood to the 6th arrondissement. Or cross Pont Raymond Barre, the bridge connecting Confluence and Gerland that is exclusively reserved for soft modes of transport. To save time, you can catch a metro, bus, tramway or funicular on the TCL network.

Segways, the most original way to travel!

Com'hic Segway

It’s a nice and friendly way to get around.

You can also book segway tours to discover Lyon’s highlights, perfect if you’re a foodie or want to explore the city’s hidden gems.
