La Sucrière, an original venue located at the heart of the Docks de Lyon-Confluence neighbourhood, in a fully renovated industrial building, has capacity for up to 1600 people for a gala dinner. It offers 3800 m² of event spaces and 1700 m² dedicated to cultural exhibitions.
Now completely renovated, while retaining its industrial character, it has become the ‘figurehead’ of the new Lyon Confluence district, a former working-class neighbourhood that is now home to the headquarters of major communications companies and institutions, trendy restaurants, lively bars, art galleries and design shops.
With a surface area of 6,500 m² entrusted to the GL Events group, including 3,800 m² of event space, 1,700 m² of space for artistic and cultural activities, and a bar club, La Sucrière aims to become a venue that combines culture, creativity and communication with a friendly atmosphere, giving it a unique character, following the example of major European capitals such as London, Madrid and Berlin.
