To mark the start of the festive season, the renowned gospel singer Bridget Bazile is returning to Lyon for two extraordinary evenings in the crypt of the Basilica of Fourvière.

Hailing from New Orleans, Bazile is renowned worldwide for her powerful, expressive and warm voice, which blends African-American tradition with lyrical richness. Having been acclaimed on the biggest international stages and honoured with numerous awards, including a Grammy Award nomination in 2021, she continues to captivate audiences around the world.

For these concerts, she will be joined by her backing singers and musicians from the Lyon Chamber Orchestra. Together, they will perform a vibrant programme combining gospel, blues, and New Orleans jazz, as well as contemporary pieces from African-American culture.
