Travelling to and around Lyon

Lyon is a genuine international hub that’s easy to travel to and around. 

Once you’re here, the city has very good transport links via TCL (Transports en Commun Lyonnais, i.e., Lyon public transport). Studying in Lyon

Lyon is recognised as France’s second city for higher education. The quality and quantity of courses on offer is outstanding! There’s Lyon University and its campuses, a range of grandes écoles  (i.e., higher education establishments which admit students on the basis of competitive exams), and plenty of other educational facilities.

If you’re a student, make the most of the “Culture Campus” pass. Run by the Lyon Metropolitan Area, it aims to help you discover Lyon’s rich cultural scene and its range of live performances through discounted ticket prices. This pass gives students access to three tickets for performances (theatre, music, dance, opera, café-theatre, festivals) and one cinema ticket for a total of €18. The offer is available at nearly 100 cultural venues across the Metropolis.
