The 2025 edition

This year, the Lyon Street Food Festival is taking on a whole new dimension. France's biggest culinary festival is back for a remarkable 9th edition. This year, the Lyon Street Food Festival will run for 5 days: from Wednesday 25 June to Sunday 29 June 2025, an extra day for even more culinary and auditory pleasure.

Head to the Grand Locos, Lyon's new cultural hub, for an immersion experience where cuisine, music and culture merge to create a unique experience. On the menu: over 200 culinary creations, 120 French and international chefs on hand, 400 participatory workshops, 2 guest international destinations and a brand new open-air stage.

Food, culture, music and party in Lyon!

From street food bites to meetings with artisans and artistic performances, festival-goers can look forward to 5 days of pure party fun. Food, Culture, Music and Party: a mix to be savoured without moderation.

The festival kicks off on Wednesday 25 June with a show featuring Michelin-starred chef Philippe Etchebest and his group Chef and The Gang. The chef will be back with his chopsticks to treat festival-goers to a rock&roll concert.

The full programme will be available in the spring. But one thing's for sure, this new edition promises an exceptional gastronomic journey!

Star chefs and prestigious emerging talents

For five days, you can savour the culinary specialities of top chefs from all over the world. You can also take part in participatory workshops and attend cultural performances.

On the menu for these 5 delicious days? Food, Culture, Music & Party! 120 chefs and patissiers from all over France and every continent will be on hand to cook over 200 recipes live. Count on the presence of self-taught chef Florent Ladeyn, chef Jean Covillault, a graduate of the Institut Paul Bocuse, and Denny Imbroisi, the voice of Italian gastronomy. On the Lyonnais side, Jean-François Têtedole and Florent Poulard will be representing the wealth of local talent. 440 free participatory culinary workshops are available. Allow one hour before the start of each workshop to reserve your place.

You'll discover 40,000m2 of playground and 12,000m2 of outdoor space, with indoor and open-air stages featuring artists and performers: 60 concerts, DJ sets and shows are expected.

France’s biggest food festival

In June, the Lyon Street Food Festival is the must-attend event for food, music, culture and festivities in Lyon. More than 38,000 festival-goers attended the last edition, which was held at the former Fagor Brandt factories, after starting its first edition at Les Subsistances in 2016. For its 8th edition in 2024, France's biggest food festival has moved to a new venue: Les Grandes Locos, the new cultural nerve centre of the Lyon metropolitan area. A former SNCF technicentre at La Mulatière, the site is steeped in history and boasts gigantic halls that are the perfect place to celebrate living together and unveil a culinary road trip of the highest calibre.

This unique event showcases culinary influences from around the world in the city of French gastronomy. For four days, hundreds of starred and unstarred chefs, emerging talents and street-food artisans rub shoulders for a unique experience that puts all the senses in the spotlight. There were 120 of them at the last edition!

Anne-Sophie Pic and Thierry Marx have already taken part in previous editions, giving everyone a chance to discover Michelin-starred cuisine in an accessible way, but the big names and new nuggets of Lyon's culinary scene also come together at each edition.
