The Chapelle de la Trinité
Religious heritage
Last updated date : 03/09/2025
A historic monument located in the heart of the Presqu'île district, the Trinity Chapel is one of the finest examples of Lyon's architectural heritage, with delicate décor featuring Carrara marble cladding, trompe l'oeil and sculptures.
Listed as a historic monument in 1939, the chapel was magnificently restored in the late 1990s by Didier Repellin and is now open as a cultural venue.
Since 2024, it has been managed by La Trinité, which has opened a “new stage for baroque and irregular music”. With a concert season punctuated by festivals, La Trinité offers an innovative program each year that is open to both repertoire and creation, interdisciplinary and passionate about the links between music and nature
