Following the fire on 17 October 2026, the main reception centre of the Lyon Tourist Office is closed. However, a temporary reception point is available just a few metres away inside the Rectangle on the Saône side of Place Bellecour.

Exceptional measures and miscellaneous information
- A curfew will be in force on the Lyon Peninsula from 9 pm on Tuesday 20 October until 6 am on Wednesday 21 October. The affected area stretches from Rue Constantine in the north to Cours de Verdun in the south. In practice, traffic and people on public roads will be prohibited within this area; however, public transport and vehicle traffic will continue to operate. Bars, restaurants, cinemas and theatres will also remain open. You can enter these venues before 9 pm and leave the restricted area if you can prove you were there before the curfew started (for example, with a receipt or cinema ticket).
- Due to a planned demonstration, the Rectangle will be closed on Saturday 24 October 2026.
