Destination of Excellence Label
In 2026, ONLYLYON Tourisme & Congrès renewed its Quality and Environmental Responsibility certification process.
Since May 2024, the new Destination of Excellence label has replaced the previously recognised Qualité Tourisme label. The new label continues to aim to enhance quality across the entire tourism sector, including accommodation, catering, places of interest, leisure facilities, tourist information points (notably tourist offices) and transport. The label also seeks to raise environmental responsibility standards among the relevant organisations in light of the current challenges facing the sector.
In 2023, ONLYLYON Tourisme & Congrès achieved a score of 95 per cent in the quality category, and this year achieved 92 per cent in environmental responsibility. The professionals at ONLYLYON Tourisme & Congrès are committed to:

- Greater energy efficiency in the management of resources and the documentation provided to visitors - You can take our publications home or give them away to other visitors or friends, safe in the knowledge that they are all printed with care for the environment.
- Raising visitors’ awareness of eco-responsible tourism practices - Our visitor advisers can provide advice on accessibility by train or public transport, sustainable travel, sustainable gastronomy, and low-carbon activities available at the destination.
