The festival's 10th anniversary in 2026

The Lyon Street Food Festival is getting ready to celebrate its 10th anniversary from 11 to 14 June 2026 at Les Grandes Locos! Since no birthday is complete without a delicious cake, this special edition will celebrate pastries with international sweet creations, as well as assembly and icing workshops at the Sugar Lab. The 'Street Food Stories' talks will also explore pastry innovation and the influence of social media on culinary creativity.

Throughout the festival, six pastry chefs will create a giant sweet installation live! Thanks to immersive scenography, this giant gourmet pyramid will be transformed into an ephemeral work of art to celebrate the festival's anniversary. It's a programme that promises to dazzle the eyes and delight the taste buds!

Food, cultur and music in Lyon!

Festival-goers enjoy five days of celebration, with street food, meetings with artisans and artistic performances. A combination of food, culture, music and parties to be savoured without moderation. There are more than 200 culinary creations to sample, 400 participatory workshops and 60 concerts and shows on the programme.

Following its success in 2024, the Festin Français also featured in the 2025 programme, celebrating French culinary heritage and the art of living. The gastronomic village hosted the largest ever street food table, stretching over 100 metres. It was a gourmet tour of France, concocted by chefs from all walks of life!

France’s biggest food festival

Held in June, the Lyon Street Food Festival is the must-see event for food, music, culture and celebration in Lyon. Since its creation in 2016, the festival has attracted no fewer than 300,000 visitors!

After spending several years at the former Fagor Brandt factories, France's largest food festival has moved to a new venue for 2024: Les Grandes Locos, the new cultural nerve centre of the Lyon metropolitan area. A former SNCF technicentre at La Mulatière, the site is steeped in history and boasts gigantic halls that are the perfect place to celebrate living together and unveil a culinary road trip of the highest calibre.

This unique event showcases culinary influences from around the world in the city of French gastronomy. For four days, hundreds of starred and unstarred chefs, emerging talents and street-food artisans rub shoulders for a unique experience that puts all the senses in the spotlight. There were 120 of them at the last edition!

Anne-Sophie Pic and Thierry Marx have already taken part in previous editions, giving everyone a chance to discover Michelin-starred cuisine in an accessible way, but the big names and new nuggets of Lyon's culinary scene also come together at each edition.
