Mâchon'week

Tastings, samplings, lunches, brunches, pre-dinner drinks… Over the course of a week, a range of events will showcase the wines of our region, as well as local producers (cheeses, charcuterie, etc.) and bars, cafés, wine cellars and restaurants.

This event is designed to be simple and on a human scale, with a focus on fostering close ties with the winegrowers and a friendly atmosphere amongst participants.

Highlights of the 2026 edition:

- Sunday 11 October at 11.00 am: Le Mâchon des Copains at Brasserie Le Nord – Bocuse (Lyon 2) to mark the 100th anniversary of Paul Bocuse (registration on a waiting list; places allocated by prize draw).

- From Monday 12 to Friday 16 October: traditional ‘mâchon’ from 9am to 11am, with wine produced by Chai Saint-Olive, served in a pot (€35, excluding drinks).

- From Wednesday 14th to Saturday 17th October: a Lyon-style dinner at Bistrot Marie, from 7 pm to 10.30 pm, featuring two special dishes created especially for Mâchon’week.

- Thursday 15 October: Lyon-style tasting aperitif from 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm at Grand-Père (Lyon 5) with gratons, a glass of wine and a sharing platter.

- Friday 16 October: Dinner at the Musée des Beaux-Arts (Lyon 1) with a guided tour, tastings, dinner and wines included. (Booking essential)

- Saturday 17 October: an exclusive Lyon-style lunch at Jade (Dardilly). The chef, trained at the Institut Paul Bocuse and crowned French Apprentice Champion in Pâté Croûte in 2024, will serve a four-course tasting menu. (€40 per person. Only 10 places available. Booking essential)

- Sunday 18 October, from 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Electronic Mâchon at La Commune (Lyon 7), featuring three set menus from three stalls in the food court, all accompanied by a house-electro DJ set playing in the background.
