In the heart of the Presqu’île district, InterContinental Lyon - Hotel Dieu is ensconced in one of the city’s most iconic buildings – the Grand Hôtel Dieu, a former hospital that is listed as a historic monument. Following around 30 months of works, Cour des Loges – Vieux-Lyon’s iconic five-star hotel – has reopened. More than a hotel, this is a place where gastronomy reigns supreme. At Les Loges, Chef Anthony Bonnet crafts a cuisine that is adventurous and creative in equal measure. You can also enjoy the bistronomic cuisine at Le Comptoir, adjoining Cour des Loges, as well as a generously served breakfast. We should mention that both the restaurants and the breakfast are open to people who are not guests at the hotel.

Fourvière Hôtel stands atop the hill of the same name. Housed in a former convent, this hotel has a wonderfully original restaurant – Les Téléphones – serving bistronomic cuisine. On each of the tables laid out in the peristyle, around the cloistered garden, diners will find a vintage telephone. As for the menu, put together by Chef Thibault Hostiguian and his teams, it is creative, mouthwatering and sustainable (the restaurant was awarded two “Macaroons” by the Écotable quality label in 2024).
