Papilles en Scène takes you on a journey through history via taste. Set against the backdrop of exceptional heritage sites, historic kitchens, storytelling and theatre offer charities, tourists and businesses a festive and cultural immersion through taste.

As a creator of historical, gastronomic and theatrical experiences, the company offers an original way to discover France’s heritage: through its cuisine, flavours and tableware. Set in castles, museums, historic houses or other venues steeped in history, each event becomes a vivid, festive and meaningful immersion.
Inspired by old cookery books and recipes from renowned chefs, period buffets, ‘tastes of history’ and table-side performances bring to life the flavours of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Grand Siècle, the Age of Enlightenment, the Empire, the Belle Époque and the Roaring Twenties.
Decor, table settings, staff in period attire and costumed actors transport guests to the heart of a particular century, a region and its traditions.
Designed for associations, tourist groups, businesses, wine tourism operators and heritage sites, these experiences are tailored to cultural outings, group visits, receptions and corporate events.
