The ‘Navigône’ has been part of Lyon's TCL public transport network since June 2025. This river shuttle stops at three locations along the Saône (four on Wednesdays, week-ends and during the school holidays).
Three to four stops are served, depending on the day:
- VAISE INDUSTRIE – 2 Rue Émile Duport, Lyon 9 (below the Quai du Commerce)
- SUBSISTANCES – 10-9 Quai Saint-Vincent, Lyon 1
- TERRASSES PRESQU'ILE – 2 Quai des Célestins, Lyon 2 (the quay can be accessed at this point, but the shuttle départs a little further on, after walking under the Palais de Justice footbridge)
- CONFLUENCE – Quai Rambaud, Lyon 2nd arrondissement (please note that this station is only open from 9:20 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. on Wednesdays and Monday to Friday during school holidays, and from 8.45 a.m. to 10.20 p.m. on weekends and public holidays)
The journey takes 37 minutes from end to end and 20 minutes from Vaise to Terrasses de la Presqu'île.
On weekdays, the boat runs every 15 minutes during rush hour (from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and every 30 minutes (from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.), as well as every 30 minutes on weekends (from 8.45 a.m. to 9.45 p.m.).
Since June 2026, two electric boats have been added to the fleet, enabling people with reduced mobility to board and increasing capacity.
