Good plan
You can book your place in advance, before your arrival, to be guaranteed a place and priority access! You have two options:
- Book on the website of LPA car parks.
- Thanks to the LPA&CO mobile application, you can enter the car parks using your smartphone by using the lane reserved for subscribers, thus benefiting from priority entry. The application also allows you to find a private parking space (other than in traditional car parks) and to reserve it at the best price, for the duration of your choice. The application currently lists 135 car parks available for reservation. The list of car parks available for reservation is regularly updated.
Prices
- The weekend rate applies from Friday to Monday noon.
- Price for a weekend: between €40 and 50 depending on the car park (ex: République/50€ - Fosse aux Ours/40€).
- Reservation: the reservation and cancellation fee is 1.50 euros including VAT.

Park-and-Ride facilities
Do you want to get to the city center without taking the car? It's possible with the 23 park-and-ride facilities Lyon's public transport network (TCL) ! How does it work? When you arrive in Lyon, choose the park-and-ride lot where you want to park. After parking your car, leave by metro, tramway or bus. To leave the parking lot, use your TCL transport ticket (ticket or travel card). Please note: parking is prohibited at night and the parking lots are reserved for TCL network customers only.

Street parking
You can opt for metered city parking. There are two paid parking zones: the Presto zone and the Tempo zone. The rates vary from one zone to another, with the Presto zone being the most expensive. Conveniently, you can now pay for your parking using the Flowbird application, which is available in Lyon.
Free parking in Lyon in August
From 1 to 31 August, you can save money and park for free on the road! The spaces in the "Tempo" pay zone are all free in August, i.e. over 38,000 spaces available. More information on the city of Lyon website.
