This Lyon-based start-up offers travellers a locker rental service so they can visit the city without being weighed down with luggage. Using this 100% self-service solution, luggage can be dropped off and picked up every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. (€12 for 24 hours).

Lockairoom is a Lyon-based luggage locker rental start-up created back in 2019. The idea is to stop travellers being weighed down with luggage between arriving and leaving so they can visit the city freely.
The Lockairoom service: luggage locker 2.0
Lockairoom has 70 lockers split between two locations for use by travellers and local residents who don’t want to be weighed down with their luggage.
The principle is simple: customers book their locker on Lockairoom.com, get an access code to enter the premises and unlock their locker, then drop off their luggage.
This 100% self-service solution is even more handy as it means you can drop off and pick up luggage between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Travellers can store up to 3 items of luggage in each locker. The price is €12/24 hours. Every locker includes plug and USB outlets to recharge electronic devices. Travellers can also enjoy free Wi-Fi. They have unrestricted access to the locker for the duration of their booking.
The locker locations - 3 place Meissonnier (69001) and 38 rue Sala (69002) - were chosen based on their accessibility and proximity to Lyon’s dynamic city centre.
Security is a priority and is guaranteed day and night, seven days a week, with cameras and an anti-intrusion alarm system.
