On 16 March, ROSALÍA kicks off her international tour ‘LUX TOUR 2026’ with a show billed as the most ambitious of her career. March is also a highlight for contemporary art in Lyon. The macLYON is presenting three new exhibitions. ‘Regards sensibles’ showcases a selection of video works from the collection of Isabelle and Jean-Conrad Lemaître, built up over more than thirty years and now a major reference in France.
With ‘Peinture froide’ (Cold Painting), Giulia Andreani offers a reflection on representations of power in the 20th century, between collective memory and marginal narratives. For its part, ‘Encore lui !’ (Him Again!) offers the first retrospective dedicated to Jean-Claude Guillaumon, an unclassifiable artist from Lyon, adept at happenings and ephemeral art.
In Villeurbanne, the immersive experience dedicated to Claude Monet at the Pôle Pixel invites the public to dive into the luminous world of the Impressionist master in a spectacular sensory installation.
