What if the skin were merely a starting point? Following the facial peeling in their duo REFACE, the Collectif Les Idoles brings together six performers for a sensory and spectacular journey into a collective metamorphosis. Plastic membranes cover faces and bodies, transforming touch into visible connections, and matter into language. They chew, they pull, they kiss — distorted, bound, reinvented. Founded in 2020 by dancers and choreographers Chandra Grangean and Lise Messina, the collective constructs a world nourished by cinematic, photographic and musical references, where bodies are in a constant state of transformation. STRIP blurs the boundaries between the self and the other, between the human and matter, offering the audience an experience that is as unsettling as it is fascinating.
