On the one hand, Sharon Eyal’s *The Look*: a collective trance in which seventeen dancers merge into an organic mass, permeated by taut movements and driven by Ori Lichtik’s electronic music. An exploration of resilience in the face of violence and oppression. On the other, Léo Lérus’s Ici, with its more intimate style, drawing on Guadeloupean choreographic and musical traditions, where solos and ensemble pieces celebrate identities and encounters. Sharon Eyal and Léo Lérus have shared a close artistic partnership for twenty years. For one, a regular at the Maison de la Danse, it’s a homecoming. For the other, it’s a first. And for the audience, an unmissable event!
