Under the direction of Maud Le Pladec, the CCN—Ballet de Lorraine reaffirms its open and vibrant artistic vision, bridging heritage and creativity. In this programme, two worlds collide and ignite. Created in 2001, Karole Armitage’s *Rave* is now performed by a new generation of dancers. Driven by intense music and dazzling virtuosity, the piece transforms the stage into a blazing space, somewhere between a ball, a carnival and a contemporary trance. Following on from *Rave Lucid*, presented in 2022 at the Maison de la Danse, MazelFreten presents a new electro-dance creation. Striking a balance between precision and letting go, the dancers deploy an extraordinary choreographic language, subverting the conventions of ballet to reveal its raw power. An electrifying evening in which the dancers give themselves over completely.
