Formed in 2018 on the Isle of Wight by guitarist Hester Chambers and singer Rhian Teasdale, Wet Leg has enjoyed a meteoric rise, the likes of which has not been seen in the English rock scene for a long time. In 2021, the single Chaise Longue set social media alight and immediately made its mark: post-punk-inspired rhythms and edgy guitars, sarcastic lyrics and a cool, calm vocal style. A debut album converted the try in 2022, while Moisturizer sealed the deal in 2025 with an even more bouncy and melodious formula. Now a quintet, Wet Leg set the stage alight with disconcerting nonchalance.
