Early Music Young Talents

An evening to showcase young baroque ensembles in partnership with the CCR d'Ambronay (Ambronay baroque festival) and the CNSMD Lyon (Conservatory).

Part 1: Tatiana Bechlitch-Szönyi & the students of the CNSMD Lyon.
This program explores the repertoire preserved at Kroměříž Castle in Olomouc (present-day Czech Republic), emblematic of the Stylus Symphoniacus. The manuscripts in this incredible Moravian library are distinguished by their focus on timbre, blending strings and winds in early attempts at orchestration. From dance suites to the beginnings of the concerto, this collection reveals an original facet of German Baroque music.

Part 2: L'Aura Pizzicata, a Swiss ensemble supported by the s-EEEMERGING program of the Ambronay Cultural Center.
L'Aura Pizzicata explores the emotional ambiguity of the early 17th century: love and pain, hope and fear. These contrasts still resonate today in a world marked by uncertainty yet sustained by hope. Through voice, plucked instruments, and a creative approach, the ensemble expresses profound emotions, exploring rapid shifts in mood and the power of music, particularly that of female composers, to comfort audiences.
