Cobalt

Founded in 2021, Cobalt is a human endeavour rooted in the historic cobblestones of the Grande Côte, a neighbourhood whose artisanal spirit resonates strongly.

The collective brings together nine passionate female craftspeople who divide their days between the tranquillity of their workshops and the buzz of this shared showcase. They shape this living space in the image of their own creations: warm, refined and resolutely committed to sustainable, local and 100 per cent French craftsmanship.

Cobalt’s mission? To showcase unique craftsmanship and provide it with an exceptional showcase in the heart of the Pentes de la Croix-Rousse, giving each creation the space to be seen and its story told. Taking turns, the collective’s artisans welcome you to the shop to share their passion and help you discover the shop’s selection, curated with rigour and precision to unearth pieces you won’t find anywhere else.

Here, every object is the result of a sincere craft. From ceramics to fine jewellery, via textiles, leather goods, woodwork and illustration, the materials and techniques harmonise and complement one another in a constant dialogue.
