The Debussy Quartet has established itself in the heart of Lyon with a unique space dedicated to musical education and cultural openness. It invites the people of Lyon to discover the art of the string quartet in a series of free concerts.
The Debussy Quartet, in artistic residence at INSPE Lyon (Institut National Supérieur du Professorat et de l’Éducation) in the heart of the Croix-Rousse district, is committed to making a local impact.
For several years now, it has been organising workshops for local residents to introduce as many people as possible to the art of the string quartet.
This season, six free events in winter and many others in summer will give anyone who is interested the chance to come and meet ‘the most Lyon-based of international quartets’ through unique concert-meetings.
The musicians and their team welcome audiences to a green setting for festive and convivial evenings.
