La Maison de Guignol, an iconic theatre in Old Lyon, puts on puppet shows during the day and transforms into a café-theatre in the evening. It offers a varied programme, blending Lyon’s traditional heritage with contemporary theatre.
As night falls, the venue changes pace and becomes a café-theatre hosting a succession of comedies, one-man shows and comedy acts. The programme evolves throughout the year, alternating between new productions, contemporary plays and regular events, in an intimate venue that fosters a close connection with the performers.
La Maison de Guignol also hosts café-théâtre workshops and offers formats tailored to groups, events or on-demand sessions, thereby extending the experience beyond the simple performance.

All year round on Tuesday and Wednesday between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm. On Thursday between 9.30 am and 9.30 pm. On Friday and Saturday between 9.30 am and 11.30 pm. On Sunday between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm.
Closed exceptionally on December 25th.
