This small town, bordering Lyon to the south, stretches all the way along the banks of the Saone then the Rhone before opening to the Monts du Lyonnais.
Known for its famous Aquarium along the river, La Mulatière is also a motherland of the Nautical Joust, a folkloric activity on the water.
This town is also home to the Bonne Maison, a private residence where an exceptional collection of old roses is displayed in its gardens.
