Places to pop the big question in Lyon

The little-known garden of antique roses tucked away in the Jardins du Rosaire beneath Fourvière Basilica also offers an incredibly romantic atmosphere with a view over the city.

What could be better than a moonlit walk? Stop in front of the fountain on Place des Jacobins, stroll along the banks of the Saône or go to the very tip of Lyon in the garden of the Musée des Confluences, where the Rhône and Saône come together.
