The Little Mole

It was in 1957, whilst stumbling over a molehill during a walk in the woods, that Zdeněk Miler came up with the idea for The Little Mole, who quickly became the most famous character of the Czech school of animation. Up until 1994, Miler produced more than twenty episodes featuring the adorable little creature and his loyal friends. Even today, Krtek (as he is known in the original version) remains an idol amongst Czech children, with several specialist shops dedicated to him in Prague!
Paul Goussot on the organ, Damien Laquet (the official voice of the Raving Rabbids) and Julien Baissat on sound effects bring the little animal’s delightful adventures to life on stage. Three artists working in perfect harmony, who immerse themselves in the poetry and humour of the original work whilst adding the finesse and inventiveness of their own art.
