Le Comptoir de Léa
Locavore, or the art of eating emblematic local products
Last updated date : 25/06/2024
Just a stone's throw from Place Bellecour, Le Café Comptoir offers delicious local cuisine in a unique setting. Featuring a magnificent period counter, the main room can be hired for private events and can seat up to 24 diners.
If we had to describe this legendary restaurant in just one word, it would have to be sincerity.
First and foremost in the decor, which has retained all the warmth and friendliness that la mère Léa wanted to create in 1943, by creating a place where the many customers came to restore themselves, in the noble sense of the word, their bodies as well as their hearts.
In the kitchen, which is faithful to the origins of authentic Lyonnais cuisine, you will discover all its generosity.
There's no better setting for a genuine Lyonnaise salad or chubby quenelles. Depending on the season, you can also enjoy game or dishes from the great French cuisine.
