Benur is the only bike model that makes it possible to travel with a wheelchair, enabling total independence!
The Benur project team has been working hard behind the scenes for several months to provide a range of innovative services for all people with reduced mobility, allowing everybody to make full use of the ViaRhôna bike route and enjoy Lyon’s tourist attractions.
Soon, all users will be able to use the handbike, thanks to a removable seat. People using a walking stick or crutches, including seniors, will be able to use Benur as a safe solution to pedal with peace of mind.
You can choose to ride for an hour or several days on the ViaRhôna, a bike route that allows you to go at your own pace, stretching from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean coast. Up until now, due to access, mobility, supply and transfer issues, this was not accessible for people with reduced mobility, including seniors and people with a physical disability. Thanks to the Benur tricycle, all you need to do now is plan your trip.
