Known for her athletic dance style that pushes the body to the point of exhaustion, the Greek choreographer Katerina Andreou – a new associate of the Maison de la danse – joins forces with the Swiss dancer and performer Mélissa Guex to make the cry a driving force for transformation. A rallying cry, a cry of anger, a collective cry: as the intensity builds layer upon layer, in a format reminiscent of a concert, they unite voice and body to create a raw sensory experience where every gesture, every sound resonates and penetrates. The audience is welcomed into their circle, swept up in their collective momentum. Beneath the starry vault of the SUBS’ glass roof, emotions and resilience intertwine — until anger gives way to joy, playfulness and a shared connection. SHOUT TWICE is not just a performance; it is a movement. A movement with a liberating energy that flows through spaces and bodies.
