Since 1986, 120 potters from France and abroad have come together each year to exhibit on one of the largest markets in France.
Every year, on the 2nd weekend in September, the Tupiniers du Vieux-Lyon (Old Lyon Ceramics Fair) brings together around 120 ceramists in Place Saint-Jean and the surrounding streets.
Over the course of these two days, 120 potters and ceramic artists from across Europe will set up their stalls in Place St Jean and the surrounding streets to showcase their work: functional pieces, sculptures, jewellery and decorative items. There will be a wide variety of materials and techniques on display. We hope that, amongst these many facets of contemporary ceramic art, each of you will make some wonderful discoveries.
