In 2013, Lorde was just 17 when the success of her debut album – driven in particular by the singles Royals and Tennis Court – propelled her to the forefront of the global pop scene. A star was born, already seasoned in the art of combining introspective writing, unstoppable melodies and ultra-modern production with electronic inflections. In the summer of 2025, the New Zealand singer-songwriter returns to the fray with her fourth album, Virgin, and once again comes out on top. Minimalist and percussive, her pop music flourishes on stage in the chiaroscuro of an impressive light show.
