Following Komitas's footsteps.

Email Site web Booking
Komitas, the iconic Armenian composer of the last century, laid the soul of Armenian music to rest in his masterpiece, the Divine Liturgy. Within it, after spending his life collecting thousands of folk songs, ancestral prayers, lullabies, and folk dances, he achieved the sacred feat of reconciling the secular and the liturgical in order to celebrate his faith and his people.

Following in Komitas's footsteps, François Mardirossian humbly pursues this path, offering his own musical discoveries to create his own divine liturgies. These include popular Armenian, Ethiopian, and Indian themes, as well as music by Komitas, Bach, Sarah Davachi, Tchesnokov, Josquin des Prez, Vangelis, Hildegard von Bingen, Harold Budd, Shankar, and others.
