This travelling festival offers a creative line-up combining jazz, blues, soul, rock and much more besides. In 2026, more than 40 concerts are scheduled, including four in the Lyon metropolitan area.
SPIN & SPELLS – STRANDED HORSE: Tuesday 6 October at 8.00 pm
Théâtre de la Renaissance, Oullins
Rafaëlle Rinaudo reinvents the Celtic harp with Spin & Spells, a fascinating trio in which contemporary jazz, traditional music and African influences blend to create a hypnotic world. As the opening act, Stranded Horse and kora player Boubacar Cissokho present a sensitive fusion of indie folk and Mandinka music, creating a moment that feels suspended in time – delicate and spellbinding.
KYLE EASTWOOD 5TET: Friday 9 October at 8.30 pm
Le Radiant-Bellevue in Caluire-et-Cuire
Accompanied by his marvellous quintet of top-class musicians, the international jazz star returns for the third time to Rhino jazz(s), this time with ‘Eastwood by Eastwood’, focusing on the film scores of his famous father, Clint.

Le Périscope in Lyon
Inspired by the mystical Mexican festival of Día de los Muertos, the quartet founded by cellist Valentin Ceccaldi delivers music that is vibrantly coloured, tangy and spicy.
SANDRA NKAKÉ TRIO – “Elles!”: Thursday 15 October at 8.00 pm
Théâtre de La Mouche, Saint-Genis-Laval
Sandra Nkaké returns to the festival with her trio to present “Elles”, a repertoire featuring songs written and composed exclusively by women who have all accompanied and shaped her life’s journey.
