Through its new exhibition, the museum invites you to explore the secrets of historical reconstruction. Combining science, artistic creation and the contribution of AI, this exhibition lifts the veil on the methods used by the specialists who shape our view of Roman antiquity. Which elements are based on archaeological certainties? Which details are a matter of interpretation? How do you recreate a historical setting for a video game? What about a soundscape, or even a scent? A fascinating dialogue between scientific evidence and artistic approaches, offering a deeper understanding of how our collective memory is constructed.

A rich, varied and accessible programme of cultural events accompanies this temporary exhibition: a series of lectures; guided tours; and numerous workshops.
