Dirty Dancing in Concert promises to bring this 80s classic back to life in spectacular style, with an orchestra on stage and the film projected onto a big screen!
The film was a worldwide hit when it was released in 1987. Dirty Dancing, directed by Emile Ardolino, written by Eleanor Bergstein, produced by Linda Gottlieb and starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in their most iconic roles, alongside Jerry Orbach and Cynthia Rhodes, was a box-office sensation when it was released in 1987.
Its soundtrack spawned two multi-platinum albums and several singles, including the Academy Award®-winning Best Original Song ‘(I've Had) The Time of My Life’. With over 214 million dollars in box-office receipts worldwide, Dirty Dancing has captured the hearts of audiences around the world.
Dirty Dancing en Concert will be coming to Lyon as part of its European tour in 2025.
