The Institut Lumière pays tribute to David Lynch during a special evening dedicated to one of the most unique filmmakers in contemporary cinema.
As the director of cult films such as *Eraserhead*, *Blue Velvet*, *Sailor and Lula*, *Lost Highway*, and *Mulholland Drive*, David Lynch has developed a unique visual and narrative universe that straddles the boundaries between dreams, fantasy, and the unconscious. This evening offers an exploration of his work and his cinematic legacy.
6:30 p.m. – Discussion on David Lynch with Nathalie Bittinger (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes)
During the intermission, book signing for *Keep Your Eye on the Doughnut, Not the Hole!* ” In the Mind of David Lynch (Hoëbeke, 2025), an original essay conceived as an exploration of the work of the American director who passed away in January 2025.
8:30 p.m. – Dune by David Lynch (United States, 1984, 2h17, color)
