Why come to Lyon during the Festival of Lights?
The ‘Fête des Lumières’ is an extraordinary time to be in Lyon! It offers a chance to discover the city’s heritage in a very original way. Enjoy the unique experience of seeing the walls of the Théâtre des Célestins move, bathing in the light of giant table lamps on the forecourt of the station, or witnessing the sight of dragons and elephants in the street!
Then there is the very pleasant festive winter atmosphere. Come to Lyon on the 8th of December to find the local folk united by a dearly loved festival and get swept up by the magic of the event.
