The workshop-boutique in Vieux-Lyon offers a wide selection of Lyonnais silks: ties, scarves, stoles, muslins, velvets, etc.
This place of discovery and encounter with the history of Lyon and silk weaving is located in Vieux-Lyon, just a 5-minute walk from Place Bellecour.
Come and see a loom demonstration. During a guided tour, discover how silk and gold are woven on 19th-century Jacquard looms. You'll be able to get up close and personal with the making of fabrics for couturiers and châteaux furniture.
You'll discover all the techniques that have shaped the history of Lyon since the 16th century: you'll be able to see the different stages, from the design drawing to weaving on a traditional loom.
The shop offers a wide selection of Lyon silks at attractive prices. You'll love the squares, ties, scarves, stoles, shawls, muslins, velvets... made using traditional know-how.
