Every year in mid-June, Place Bellecour, Lyon welcomes the world!
Les fêtes consulaires (the consular festival) sets up its marquees in Place Bellecour for two days. Bellecour becomes a multicultural village where the city's different consular delegations invite you to discover all their cultural, traditional and gastronomic riches to make you want to go and visit them.
Summer is approaching and makes you want to travel. Get inspiration and advice for your next holiday destinations. It is also an opportunity to go on a journey around the world, with all its diversity of riches and cultures.
The 'Fête des Bannières du monde' (Banners of the world) parade showcases Lyon's inhabitants from different countries and cultures through their traditional dress, dances, music and songs, etc. It is a parade for all which celebrates diversity and openness.
