Guided tours Vieux-Lyon
Tour proposed by Cybèle

Bad blood at the print shop

Discover Vieux-Lyon (Old Lyon) during the Renaissance, the golden age of printing. Follow your storyteller-guide as you discover the adventures of Catherine, a female printer.
From her bustling print shop to dim taverns and the construction of scenery for the royal entrance of the king’s procession, imagine life during this period of history! Follow Catherine as she pursues an unscrupulous competitor.
Will she manage to save her print shop and sons from his grasp?

This storytelling tour brings to life the buildings of Lyon’s Renaissance district – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – and its traboules (hidden passageways). Immersed in the story, see the adventures of the characters unfold before your eyes.
This fictional story is based on a real historical background. It offers a chance to learn about Vieux-Lyon and Lyon’s sixteenth-century printing industry. All with suspense and emotions!
