Head through the traboules (inner passageways) to save time

The traboules are not just found in Vieux Lyon! There are more than 160 in the Croix-Rousse. Built in the 18th century, they were highly-practical shortcuts for the Canuts (silk workers) who transported bundles of fabric from one street to another.
