We had a great food tour with Vincent, who not only knows a lot about local food, but also about the history of Lyon.
He gave us a great insight of original lyonnaise food and as well of historic sites and traboules.
- great cheese as a starter
- Original Bouchon de Lyon Ich typical food
- Great wine at BMD (stands for drink, eat and relaxe)
- best natural chocolate ever and original liquor
- Great recommendations for sight seeings by Vincent
- lot of information about historic sites
All in all it was a very very interesting tour and time went very fast.

What is a Mâchon?
It is a local gastronomic tradition, served by restaurants during the morning hours. It includes pork meat and tripe, washed down with a glass or two of Beaujolais or Mâconnais. A hearty breakfast that will set you up for the day!
